FASCINATING account of incunabula, medieval manuscripts, and early printed books collected by William Morris, and sold by his estate (through Thomas Chatto) to Richard Bennett of Manchester in 1897. Bennett kept the core of the collection for himself (subsequently sold to the Pierpont Morgan Library), while others were dispersed at auction. ¶ Paul Needham is a recognized authority on incunabula.
